A brief introduction to some facts about the war in Libya is followed by media worker Joti Brar’s remarks on the role of the press in aiding and abetting imperialism’s unjust wars, concentrating on the example of Libya.

Joti goes on to demonstrate that journalists playing an active and knowing part in the generation of war propaganda are not only central to the entire conduct of these modern day colonial wars, but are, for that very reason, guilty of war crimes.
