In the 3<sup>rd <\/sup>Festival, works of musicians in Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Iran were appreciated. The following artists are the recipients of the azure statute of Simorgh Peace Prize.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Afghanistan<\/strong>: \u201c<strong>Afghan Youth Orchestra &#8211; Afghanistan National Institute of Music<\/strong>\u201d for training a new generation of girls and boys and paying attention to music of Afghanistan and the world; \u201c<strong>Ms\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Zarsanga\u201d<\/strong> for a lifetime of artistic activities, keeping alive the voice of women in Afghanistan despite all the constraints, and her call to peace through music.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/openasia.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/tandis.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5170\" src=\"https:\/\/openasia.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/tandis.jpg\" alt=\"tandis\" width=\"500\" height=\"756\" srcset=\"https:\/\/openasia.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/tandis.jpg 2556w, https:\/\/openasia.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/tandis-198x300.jpg 198w, https:\/\/openasia.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/tandis-677x1024.jpg 677w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Iran:<\/strong>\u201c<strong>Master Mohammad Reza Shajarian<\/strong>\u201d for a lifetime of artistic activities and his persistent companionship of the people; and \u201c<strong>Rastak Music Ensemble<\/strong>\u201d for concentrating on the local music of ethnic communities and different languages in Iran, the strong presence of women within the ensemble and spreading happiness among the people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tajikistan:<\/strong> \u201c<strong>Falak Centre<\/strong>\u201d and its founder and director \u201c<strong>Mr<\/strong><strong> Davlatmand Khal<\/strong>\u201d for establishing the Centre, endeavours to safeguard the Falak musical legacy, and consciously promoting the classical and modern literature through this musical genre; \u201c<strong>Ms<\/strong><strong> Golchehra Sadiqova<\/strong>\u201d, mother of music in Tajikistan for a lifetime of artistic activities; and \u201c<strong>Mr Daler Nazar<\/strong>\u201d for cultural perseverance and endeavouring to keep alive the literary legacy through modern music as well as combine the pop and jazz music with Tajikistan\u2019s national music.<\/p>\n<p>The Secretariat of the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> International Simorgh Peace Prize wishes more success for all these artists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Armanshahr Foundation\/OPEN ASIA<\/strong> established the International Simorgh Peace Prize in 2009. In the first round, poets and writers from the region received the awards.
