The Secretariat of the “International Women’s Film Festival – Herat\u201d is proud to announce the 3rd edition of the Festival on October 11, 2015 in the Herat Citadel, also known as the Citadel of Alexander, in the ancient city of Herat in Afghanistan<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year the Festival secretariat has received more than 300 films from twenty countries. \u00a0Sixty four selected films from Afghanistan, Iran, Russia, America, Lebanon, India, Myanmar, Iraq, Netherlands, Australia, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Norway, Japan, Singapore, Spain and Italy will be screened during three days and open to the public. An independent jury consisting of film professionals and women’s rights activists from Italy, India, Iran, America and Afghanistan will award the most outstanding films.<\/span><\/p>\n

The International Women’s Film Festival-Herat is founded by Armanshahr Foundation\/OPEN ASIA and Roya Film House and is the first women\u2019s film festival in the region and has in the past hosted some 500 films from around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to well known filmmakers and cultural figures from Afghanistan attending the festival, guests from Italy, India, America and Iran will also accompany the three-day event.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Festival programme includes daily film screenings for the public, awarding of best films and crew by the jury, a special award will also be granted to a personality, a technical and craft workshop and the making of a short film by the participants, a photo exhibition, a concert and a round table\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

L’ouverture de la 3\u00e8me<\/sup> \u00e9dition du \u201cFestival international des films des femmes- H\u00e9rat”<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Le secr\u00e9tariat du “Festival international des films des femmes – H\u00e9rat” est fier d’annoncer le lancement de la 3\u00e8me<\/sup> \u00e9dition du Festival du 11 Octobre 2015 dans le Citadelle de H\u00e9rat, aussi connu comme la citadelle d’Alexandre, dans l’ancienne ville de H\u00e9rat en Afghanistan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cette ann\u00e9e, le secr\u00e9tariat du Festival a re\u00e7u plus de 300 films en provenance de vingt pays. Soixante-quatre films s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s de l’Afghanistan, l’Iran, la Russie, l’Am\u00e9rique, le Liban, l’Inde, le Myanmar, l’Irak, les Pays-Bas, l’Australie, la Suisse, Hong Kong, la Norv\u00e8ge, le Japon, Singapour, l’Espagne et l’Italie seront projet\u00e9s pendant trois jours et ouverts au public. Un jury ind\u00e9pendant compos\u00e9 de professionnels du cin\u00e9ma et de militantes des droits des femmes d\u2019Italie, d’Inde, d’Iran, des Etats-Unis et d’Afghanistan attribueront des prix aux films les plus remarquables.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le Festival international des films des femmes -Herat est fond\u00e9 par Armanshahr Fondation \/ OPEN ASIA et Roya Film House. Il est unique dans la r\u00e9gion et, par le pass\u00e9, a accueilli quelques 500 films du monde entier.<\/span><\/p>\n

En plus de cin\u00e9astes bien connus et des personnalit\u00e9s culturelles de l’Afghanistan pr\u00e9sents au Festival, les invit\u00e9s de marque venus d\u2019Italie, d’Inde, d\u2019Am\u00e9rique et d\u2019Iran accompagneront \u00e9galement l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement de trois jours.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le programme du Festival comprend des projections quotidiennes de films pour le public, l’attribution par le jury des prix aux meilleurs films et aux r\u00e9alisateurs et aux \u00e9quipes de techniciens, le d\u00e9cernement d\u2019un prix \u00e0 une personnalit\u00e9, l\u2019organisation d\u2019un atelier technique de r\u00e9alisation et la production d’un court m\u00e9trage r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par ses participants, une exposition de photos, un concert et une table ronde …<\/span><\/p>\n
