Improve state support for the Rome Statute<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"read-more\"><a href=\"mailto:example@mail.com?Subject=Join%20the%20fight%20for%20Global%20Justice&amp;body=Dear%20Elected%20Representative,%0A%0AWar%20crimes,%20crimes%20against%20humanity%20and%20genocide%20are%20on%20the%20rise%20all%20around.%0A%0AMass%20murder.%20Bombing%20civilians.%20Torture.%20Pillage.%20Rape%20as%20a%20weapon%20of%20war.%20Disappearances.%20Extrajudicial%20killings.%0A%0AThese%20unimaginable%20atrocities%20are%20sanctioned%20at%20the%20highest%20levels.%20Civilians%20%E2%80%93%20particularly%20children%20and%20women%20%E2%80%93%20suffer%20most.%0A%0AI%E2%80%99m%20writing%20to%20say%20enough%20is%20enough.%0A%0ASuch%20grave%20crimes%20threaten%20the%20peace,%20security%20and%20well-being%20of%20the%20world.%20%0A%0AFor%20the%20first%20time%20in%20history,%20we%20can%20bring%20individuals%20-%20including%20presidents,%20generals%20and%20rebel%20leaders%20-%20to%20justice%20in%20national%20courts,%20or%20failing%20that,%20through%20the%20International%20Criminal%20Court%20(ICC)%20in%20The%20Hague.%0A%0AThe%20victims%20of%20these%20heinous%20crimes%20need%20your%20help%20to%20get%20our%20government%20to%20support%20the%20ICC%20its%20mission%20to%20end%20impunity%20for%20the%20perpetrators%20of%20these%20crimes%20and%20to%20contribute%20to%20their%20prevention.%0A%0AHere%20are%20four%20ways%20you%20can%20help:%0A%0A1.%20Making%20the%20advancement%20and%20increased%20visibility%20of%20justice%20for%20grave%20crimes%20at%20the%20national%20and%20international%20levels%20one%20of%20your%20main%20policy%20priorities%3B%0A%0A2.%20Encouraging%20our%20government%20to%20ratify%20or%20accede%20to%20Rome%20Statute,%20the%20ICC%E2%80%99s%20founding%20treaty.%20Working%20towards%20the%20full%20implementation%20of%20the%20Rome%20Statute%20into%20our%20national%20law,%20to%20ensure%20full%20cooperation%20with%20the%20ICC%20and%20domestic%20prosecution%20grave%20crimes%3B%0A%0A3.%20Call%20on%20our%20government%20to%20do%20more%20to%20ensure%20the%20effective%20functioning%20of%20the%20ICC%20and%20Rome%20Statute%20system%20of%20international%20justice%20by%20arresting%20fugitives,%20protecting%20victims%20and%20witnesses,%20and%20ensuring%20the%20Court%20has%20sufficient%20resources.%0A%0A4.%20Working%20with%20global%20civil%20society,%20including%20through%20the%20Parliamentarians%20for%20Global%20Action%20network,%20to%20ensure%20greater%20access%20to%20justice%20for%20victims%20of%20war%20crimes,%20crimes%20against%20humanity%20and%20genocide.%20%0A%0AJoin%20the%20historic%20fight%20for%20global%20justice%20at%20www.coalitionfortheicc.org.%0A%0AKind%20Regards,%0A%0AThe%20COALITION%20FOR%20THE%20ICC%20IS%20A%20CIVIL%20SOCIETY%20NETWORK%20IN%20150%20COUNTRIES%20FIGHTING%20FOR%20GLOBAL%20JUSTICE%20FOR%20WAR%20CRIMES,%20CRIMES%20AGAINST%20HUMANITY%20AND%20GENOCIDE\">EMAIL
