The past decades have seen the establishment of a firm global trend towards abolition.
Future progress will mainly depend on the education our children receive as they are tomorrow’s citizens, politicians, defendants, judges and lawyers. The world’s future is in their hands and it will be up to each and every one of them as adults to join the abolitionist family.
In 2009, the 7th World Day Against the Death Penalty was dedicated to teaching abolition. Since then, many World Coalition members have developed numerous educational programmes. You can download selected tools in the right column – we will add more as they become available. Change language at the top of the page to access more tools in French.
The 5th World Congress is hosting a workshop to provide abolitionists with a forum to discuss which tools exist and how to share and improve them so that the largest number of people can benefit from them.
