DRAFT version of Afghanistan’s National Youth Policy. This version is a draft for public consultation only. Please see the policy document and feedback form below. Background: The Office of the Deputy Ministry of Youth Affairs (DMoYA) together with a Technical Committee consisting of representatives from relevant line ministries and members from the civil society (including youth organizations) have developed a first draft of a National Youth Policy. Throughout March and April this draft document is being presented to over 500 young women and men in a series of nationwide consultation workshops. In addition, the draft is being circulated amongst youth networks to collect their views and comments. The comments and recommendations will be presented to the Technical Committee and will be incorporated to the final draft. The final draft will be launched and submitted for Presidential approval at a national youth policy conference on 21 May 2013.
